My wife and I really enjoy going to the local auctions. We like listening to the auctioneer because many times he make jokes and most of the people bidding are oblivious to his comments but he makes us laugh and thier seriousness makes it even funnier. We have even purchased some interesting things ourselves.
We really enjoy Bishop Hill. The stores and resturants are really nice. The people there are very friendly and if you are there researching your ancestry it makes for a enjoyable day (or more).
